I've been working on this painting this week, and I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out. When I was painting this, I kind of visualized a solid black background, but I mixed blue, green, and black paint, so I'm happy with how the negative space came out. Each rose was carefully done, but I think they're a bit messy, but I'm happy with the overall result. And the girl...I was looking at myself in the mirror for reference on anatomy, but I don't know if she resembles me at all...she reminds me of Scarlet Johannsen (before I painted her eyelashes so thickly, hehe...). My mother was disgusted by the blood, but please tell me what you think!

So pretty!!!!!! Is the blood coming from the roses or something? If it is, then you can't really be bothered by it. Flowers make everything better, :lol: .
I'm hyper and on a popcorn-high right now in case you can't tell. XD
