I like the concept of a charm with the word "love" on it, but I feel there's too much negative space. In addition, the part of the chain with the clasp next to the charm detracts from the focal point. There should be something more surrounding the chain; perhaps, there could be more chains tangled up around it? Or maybe dried and dying rose petals, because you said in your comment, "Everything rusts." I guessing the point of your picture is that everything eventually dies, including love, so maybe dead rose petals could symbolize that. But then, that's just what I would do. Play around with the negative space. Experiment! I feel it would be more interesting if you do so.
