I attended my school's art show on Wednesday night (it's required for all art students to attend) with my mother and met up with my friend there. When I was just about to enter the library, I saw the list of winners who have won awards in different categories such as creativity, charcoal, painting coloring, printmaking, etc. I was looking through the list, and I suddenly came up MY name in FIRST PLACE in the black and white drawing category! I was so shocked! I did not expect it! I was hoping for 3rd or honorable mention is some category at the best, but no, I got first place in black and white! Some of you watchers may remember from last year that I won 2nd place in Technical Skill last year for Venetian Masquerade



Well, this year, it's first place for Black and White Drawing for Biting Into Bleeding Solace!



I was SO happy! I'm STILL happy! I'm always happy when I receive an award! I felt as though I would topple over and faint when I saw my name.



Ok, this is a HELLA fugly picture of me posing by my work, but I don't think my mom was really willing to take another photo, so I let it go. Besides, I could've looked worse.
